We discovered in "The Assassination of Robert Opray" that Simon Blundell, a script writer on Quiz with Robert Opray is unhappy with his lot and determined to do something about it; whatever it takes. Robert Opray, the handsome and immensely popular, quiz show host is something of a womaniser but despite his successful career so far is also frustrated with life.
Things come to a head and in the final scene of "The Assassination of Robert Opray" we are left wondering if Simon's plotting with one of Robert's dalliances has successfully solved his 'Robert problem'.
But when they have left, Robert regains consciousness and manages to summon aid....
With 2020 continuing to throw curveballs and preventing amateur theatre groups like ours doing what we love, we continue to try and find projects to keep the creative juices flowing.
