“Two Gourmet Comedies” is Southwell Theatre Club’s name for this show which is comprised of two one-act comedies, by two of our favourite playwrights.

“Between Mouthfuls” is one of Ayckbourn’s group of five one-act plays which together are known as “Confusions”. Set in a fine dining restaurant the piece centres around two couples, who it turns out know each other really quite well. Some better than others it would seem!

In David Tristram’s “Peas” we meet Daisy and Gerry. Two people unlucky in love, looking to meet someone new and who each decide to put their faith in a new dating agency.
