It's the early 1900's, and at Amberwood House Gregory Black is preparing for his wife’s funeral, with the help of her companion and housekeeper. But the unexpected arrival of a police detective throws the household into disarray when he announces that the circumstances of Edwina Black’s death are not as clear cut as everyone presumed.  No-one is beyond suspicion and the detective has his work cut out to establish the facts of what actually happened to Edwina.
