Treasure Island - the Murder Mystery Panto!
Press Release:
1 November 2024

Rehearsals are well under way for Southwell Theatre Club's last production of the year, 'Treasure Island - the Murder Mystery Panto!' Elegant 1930's costume from their recent production of 'Private Lives' has been replaced by cutlasses and eye patches, and sophisticated banter for more sea salty language.
The action takes place at the Admiral Benblowers, a lonely inn by the seashore, run by Mrs Ladd and her son Jim. The arrival of pirate Billy Barnacle looking for a place to hide a treasure map, heralds the arrival of other pirates looking for him. Lots of fun, with singing, dancing - and a murder for the audience to solve!
The venue is Southwell Library, King Street, Southwell, NG25 0EH, and public performances for this rip roaring tale, are on Friday 6th Saturday 7th December, and Sunday 8th December, 7.30pm. Tickets priced £10, include a light buffet and are on sale at the library or online at www.ticketsource.co.uk/southwelltheatreclubÂ
